Nigeria's Super Eagles manager, Gernot Rohr has announced the team's starting line-up for today's Africa Cup of Nations Group B match against Guinea at the Alexandria Stadium, Alexandria.
The former Bayern Munich defender suggested that he will start with Daniel Akpeyi in goal at yesterday's pre-match press conference and he has kept his word, with the Kaizer Chiefs star picked over Ikechukwu Ezenwa.
The defence consists of Kenneth Omeruo, Leon Balogun, Ola Aina and Chidozie Awaziem, with the Torino and Porto players occupying the left and right back positions respectively.
Rohr has gone with Wilfred Ndidi, Oghenekaro Etebo and Alex Iwobi in midfield, meaning captain John Obi Mikel drops to the bench.
Odion Ighalo has edged Paul Onuachu to the number nine role and the former Watford man is flanked by Ahmed Musa and Moses Simon.
