The Founder of Hassan Olawale Giwa (HOG) Foundation, Arc. Hassan Giwa has commiserated with Ibadan popular radio man, Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat and traders of Dugbe Market, who are victims of the recent inferno incidents in Ibadan.
Arc. Giwa, in a press release signed and made available to journalists, described the incidents as unfortunate, especially now when the situation is tense due to ravaging Coronavirus in the country.
Giwa, in his message to the victims and the state government expressed his sadness over the incidents, and prayed for speedy recovery for the victims to a better future.
He commended the state government and team of fire fighters in the state’s Fire Service for their efforts so far as regard fire incidents in Oyo State. He urged them to double their effort to ensure adequate protection of the peoples' properties and valuables.
The office of the popular radio presenter, Oriyomi Hamzat, located at Monatan Iwo-Road was the first to raze by inferno on Saturday, where equipment worth millions of naira were destroyed, before the news Dugbe Market fire outbreak broke out on Wednesday.
The HOGF founder appealed to the people to always be careful and be cautious when it comes to matter of fire. He urged them to contact concerned authority immediately they notice any incident of such to avoid losing valuables and property.
