COVID19: AYYCW Wants FG’s Funds, Palliatives Shared Equitably To South/West

The Yoruba socio-cultural group, Alliance of Yoruba Youths Council Worldwide (AYYCW) has commended the efforts of the Federal Government of Nigeria in curtailing the spread of the dreaded Coronavirus while as well condemning the sharing method of government's palliative packages.
According to a release made available to newsmen by the President, Dr. Akande Kazeem Babatunde and  Secretary of the Council, Comrade Adegunju Tayo, urged the government to ensure provision of more Test Kits and Personal Protective Equipments especially to people of the South/West.

Oyo Youth Corp Member Distributes Foodstuffs To 200 Households

As part of his Community Social Responsibility (CSR) and to lend his support to cushion the effect of the stay-at-home directive, a member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Oyo State, Awosika Omogoriola Damola (AOD) has distributed foodstuffs to about 200 households in Lagelu Local Government area of the state.
The event, which was held at open space in Alegongo Secondary School, Akobo, Ibadan, witnessed the compliance with social distancing guideline by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
AOD, who is a graduate of Computer Science, while addressing the beneficiaries, disclosed that the saying that government can not do it alone is not a joke, especially when the present situation in the country is critically examined.

COVID-19 Pandemic: This Is the Time To Speak With One Voice - Group Urge Oyo State Citizens

A socio-political group, New Nation Enlightenment Foundation aka NNN has called for prayers from well - meaning Nigerians for everyone that is affected by the deadly coronavirus in Oyo state, Nigeria and the world at large, especially the Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde FNSE.
Governor Makinde announced through his Twitter handle on Monday that he is tested positive to coronavirus and that he is asymptomatic and in self-isolate.
