An Ibadan - based businesswoman, Mrs. Mariam Bose Ajanaku, has described as mysterious, the fire that gutted her shop and her husband's hotel.
Mrs. Ajanaku, who stated this while speaking with Journalists in Ibadan, added that the incident might not be connected with a dispute over inheritance between her and her late father's family members.According to her, the dispute took a dangerous dimension when her business premises and her husband’s nite club, that worth over N34 million were gutted by fire mysteriously.
The businesswoman, said she has written a save my soul letter to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) over incessant attacks and attempt on his life and properties by some people she suspected to be aggrieved
family members of her late father, Engr. Abdulazeez Balogun.
Mrs. Ajanaku lamented that her life has been subjected to series of attacks for the past one year by some members of her extended family, who are desperate to use diabolical means to forcefully retrieve some properties willed to her by the famous Lagos businessman.
“I don’t feel safe any longer as these people are now after my life”, she cried out.
Mrs. Ajanaku further lamented that, “My shop got burnt by a mysterious fire where I lost more than 11 million naira goods few months after the popular K’Dreams Night Club of my husband (Ajanaku Temitope Idris) also razed down on 3rd September where properties worth almost 23 million naira destroyed.
"I don't know where to run to again as I was told that they have their network everywhere that's why I want the police to protect me and my family”.
