The Nigeria international, who joined the French side from Wolfburg, has scored 18 goals in all competition and have attract interest from Barcelona, Real Madrid, Liverpool and some Europe's elite clubs.
According to RTL's Soir de Ligue 1 on Sunday, Lopez was asked to comment on the future of his number 7 and he replied : "Osimhen will be at Lille next season. Afterwards, there are factors that I cannot control.
"I do not control the fact that a club arrives and offers a salary six or eight times higher than what we can offer.
"But I think sometimes it's better not to take a big salary and wait until next season".
In his latest match, Osimhen provided an assist as Lille ran out 3-0 winners against Toulouse, a victory that kept their Champions League hopes alive.
