Government Have Failed Nigerian Child -New Nation Enlightenment Foundation

A social political group, New Nation Enlightenment Foundation (NNN) has castigated the Federal Government of Nigeria under the leadership of President Mohammadu Buhari for neglecting of the welfare Nigeria Child.
Speaking at the second anniversary of the group's 'The Long Walk for Freedom', a trek from the Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos to the National Assembly in Abuja in 2018, Mrs Foluso Oyenuga FCA, the Founder and President of the group, said Nigeria as a nation is wasting her future by leaving her children unattended, uneducated, unclothed, unfed and unhealthy.

NPFL Ranked 57th Strongest League In The World

The International Federation of Football History and Statistics has ranked the Nigeria Professional Football League as the 57th strongest national league in the world.
The NPFL, who jumped from 77th in 2018 to 57th position in 2019, is however ranked in seventh position in Africa.

Former Nigeria's Super Eagles Coach, High Chief Adegboye Onigbinde has commended the magnanimous spirit of the initiator of the popular Ibadan based RACBAR Academy, Amb. Romoke Ayinde, over her initiative of establishing free sport’s outfit for the young ones.
The retired FIFA instructor revealed this while addressing parents of the over 150 kids that took part in screening into the football section of the Academy, which was held inside the main bowl of Obafemi Awolowo Stadium Ibadan on Saturday.

2020 WAFU Women’s Cup Gets New Date

The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has announced 25 February-7 March 2020 as the date to host the much awaited West Africa Football Union (WAFU) Women’s Cup which was postponed last year.
Bo and Makeni, the second and third largest cities in Sierra Leone, have been confirmed by the SLFA as the two venues for the competition. Both cities boast of stadia with seating capacities of 10,000 and 25,000 spectators respectively.

Alimi Sikiru Joins Tunisian Club Stade Tunisien

Tunisian Ligue Professionnelle 1 side, Stade Tunisien have confirmed the signing of Nigeria international Alimi Sikiru.
A press release published on their official Facebook page confirmed that the 23-year-old has ended his association with Nigeria Professional Football League outfit Lobi Stars after putting pen to paper on a two-and-a-half-year deal until the end of the 2021-2022 season.
