Onigbinde Reveals Reason For Nigeria Failure At 2002 W/Cup

Former Chief Coach of Nigeria's Super Eagles, Chief Adegboye Onigbinde says the efforts of some of Nigeria players were the reasons the team failed at the 2002 FIFA World Cup held in Japan and Korea.
Speaking 17 years after, the Modakeke High Chief explained that Super Eagles would have qualified at least for the second round at the 2002 Mundial but thanks to the effort of some of the renegades players whose acts let to the disbandment of the team after the Africa Cup of Nations in Mali.

Nigeria Football Is Dead Under Pinnick, Dikko -Taribo

Former Nigeria's Super Eagles defender, Taribo West says Nigeria football has declined under the current administration headed the present Nigeri Football Federation President, Amaju Pinnick.

Cross River State indigene, Sadjo Ismael emerged the winner of the first Ikogosi 10km marathon race in Ekiti with a time of 30minutes, 40 seconds.
The race which featured over 2,000 athletes in both male and female categories, commenced at about 8 am at Aramoko through Erinjiyan to Ikogosi.
